Read on to learn about five of the best concerts this summer

Backstreet Boys DNA World Tour

Backstreet’s back, alright. The DNA World Tour is set to start at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in California and push through until November. So, even if you miss the summer sets, you can catch one before the cold sets in. The Backstreet Boys’ tenth studio album, DNA, is the subject of their eleventh concert tour, the DNA World Tour (2019). Over 150 shows will be on time throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Bad Bunny

Of the summer’s hip hop shows, Bad Bunny is one of the most anticipated. The World’s Hottest Tour is set to make stops in 14 different countries from August 5 to December 10. The World’s Hottest Tour is the name of his journey. —Matthew Strauss. The first show kicks off in Orlando, Florida, and travels through Mexico, Spain, Germany, Italy, and even the Netherlands.

Jonas Brothers

This trio had concertgoers speechless, over the edge, and breathless during their five-night run in Las Vegas back in June. They’re set to do it again in Mexico throughout August and September. The brothers decided to start a band since they enjoyed playing music together. Kevin and Nick played guitar (with some keyboard work thrown in), while Nick and Joe took turns singing lead.

Lollapalooza

Chicago’s famous summer festival kicks off its four-night run on July 28 at Grant Park and goes until July 31. You can catch bands like Metallica and Green Day or dance to the electronic sets by Kygo and Liquid Stranger. Trending artists typically perform at Lollapalooza in hip-hop, techno, and alternative rock genres. The festival is known for its fantastic music and positive energy.

If hip-hop is more your style, you’re in luck. J. Cole, Doja Cat, and South Korean BTS rapper J-Hope are all set to headline. You can even witness a moment in history, as J-Hope’s performance marks the first time in US history that a South Korean artist is headlining a major festival.

Alicia Keys

Alicia: The World Tour kicks off on June 9 in the United Kingdom and runs throughout Europe before she heads across the pond to the US on August 2. Her US and Canada dates go until September 24, when she ends the tour in Nashville, Tennessee. Since her 2013 Set the World on Fire Tour, Keys has not traveled internationally until now.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has been spending her nights on stage in Las Vegas, but she’s finally stepping off for The Chromatica Ball Tour. The tour has stops in Europe and the United States throughout July and August, and it’ll make its last stop at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on September 10. The gigs will feature some cosmic imagery in addition to Gaga’s amplified dance-pop if the intricate, cyberpunk videos set on a far-off planet are any hint. Erik Torres
